Automated 50 mL Bottle Filling Station 

Objectives:

1. Design a device that can fill 50 mL “airplane bottles” efficiently, cleanly, and with the necessary accuracy to meet product specifications.
2. Build and deliver a finished system ready to be put into service at the distillery.
3. Increase manpower efficiency by reducing the labor required to fill large numbers of small bottles
4. Identify and document any potential calibration or routine maintenance issues that may arise so the unit can be kept in working order or repaired in the case of future malfunctions.

Deliverables:

1. Prototypes, analysis, testing/validation
2. A finished product ready to be put to work in the distillery’s process
3. A comprehensive guide to troubleshooting issues encountered during initial testing with corrective actions, as well as a complete list of components in case they need to be replaced in the future.
