Black Smithing Forging a Hook With 1030 Steel

I created this piece with the help of Blacksmiths from the Dillsboro Green Energy park, as a part of a lab for my Engineering Technology Materials and Processes class. This process gave me a better understanding of the properties of steel through doing hands on work. Below is a link to the lab report I wrote about this process.
