The Wheel on the Stepper Motor along with the three Hub attempts

In order to create a hub that was able to fit over the stepper motor shaft securely I had used the dimensions of the shaft to help design my hub. My first design was too exact, especially since the 3d printer I had used was very precise. For my second iteration I increased the size of the opening in the hub by 0.005 mm however the only printer available was not nearly as precise as the previous. Finally for the third iteration I waited for a 3D printer that would guarantee accuracy while keeping the same dimensions from the second attempt; it was a perfect fit. Along with making a space for my shaft to fit, screw holes were needed on the sides in order to insert a set screw that would help hold my wheel onto my stepper. The diameter of screw is 3 mm (this does not include the threads of the screw). This dimension was used to create the screw hole for the first iteration, however the fit wasn’t as tight as I would’ve liked. For the second iteration I decreased the dimension to 2.995 which gave the fit I wanted. Finally, after all these new adjustments were made I designed a wheel around the hub with the correct dimensions and printed it with another reliable 3D printer.
