Characteristics of Stepper motor 28BYJ-48 (in mm) (schematic retrieved from https://cookierobotics.com/042/)

In order to mount the stepper motor to the chassis of the Firefighting Arduino Capstone Project, we needed to create a mount that could hold the stepper motor in place and attach properly to the chassis. To make the motor mount, I used a Prusa Mini 3D printer with generic plastic as the filament and set the print settings to 0.15mm QUALITY. Based on the measurements of the motor, I increased the size of the hole for the output shaft to avoid any conflict with the tolerance with the Prusa Mini or the motor itself. After I printed the motor mount, the output shaft of the stepper motor fit well into the cutout. The screw holes were aligned with the proper cutouts in the motor mount.
